Hen Party Laser Combat Testimonials

When my best friend of nearly 15 years asked me to be one of her bridesmaids I was over the moon, but she also gave me the added responsibility of organising her hen party. I knew she'd want something out of the ordinary too, so I had quite a task on my hands.

I started off by looking at paintball, but after discussing it with some of the girls they were worried about how much it would hurt. I must admit I’d heard some of the horror stories too, but I'd been paintballing before and absolutely loved it. I didn't want anybody to feel uncomfortable though, so with that in mind I decided to book a laser combat experience. I went back to the girls and they were all really up for it, so as soon as I’d got the green light from the bride I got everything confirmed.

On the day of her hen party we all got a mini bus down to the site, and after we'd all signed in we got kitted up in our camo gear ready for action. We might not have known what we were doing, but we definitely looked the part! After we'd had a short briefing it was straight down to action, and our group of 23 was split into two teams.

We couldn't wait to get the first game under way and once the marshal set us off it was total chaos! The two hour session was split into loads of different sessions, which was really good because it gave us a chance to try some of the different games. It also meant we could have a bit of a breather in between games, and it's surprising how tiring laser combat experiences are.

The whole day was a constant laugh from start to finish, and some of the girls were surprisingly competitive (especially the older ladies!). Even though I ended up on the losing team I'd definitely recommend a laser combat experience because it's just impossible not to enjoy. Plus it gives you the perfect excuse to gang up on the bride!
